Hollie and Jennifer discuss how sport acts as a powerful magnet for 'neurospicy' kids, giving a true sense of identity, team pride and lifelong friendships. From CrossFit and paddle to rugby at the Dubai Sevens, these athletes are not just participating, they are competing. As Hollie beautifully explains, the transformation is instant once they pull on their team kit: "It's almost like watching The Avengers... they're ready to fight for their club."

The conversation also shines a much-needed light on the unsung powerhouses of the neurodiverse world: the parents. Jennifer and Hollie dive into the vital importance of self-care and respite, highlighting the daily reality of parenting, where your own needs often come last. Through initiatives like the 'Moms of Hope' fitness group, the academy is actively rebuilding confidence and ensuring parents have their own safe, non-judgmental space to recharge, because as Hollie reminds us, you simply cannot pour from an empty cup.

Looking ahead to the National Games in June, where forty of Hollie's athletes head to Abu Dhabi to compete as national champions, this episode is a beautiful testament to what happens when we look past a diagnosis.
